]]>Since the commencement of the hols I've had the privilege of sampling some really great food, but I'm too lazy to list all of them. While I keep those in a tiny drawer in my head, I'll let you on this one: Teck Sang at 11 Hong Kong Street, near Central mall. It's a wholesale centre so you can get some dried fruits and nuts for a steal - about 4-10 bucks a kg. Try the Rosella, a type of hibiscus from Africa. (They let you taste the food first.) The preserved kind makes for a sweet snack; the dried one is good for making tea, which helps to clear noses. Think I might go back to get stuff for the hosts.
